Joplinesque Newsletter Nov. 19/11

It’s been a while since we have sent out a newsletter – we have been having such a great time working the tunes we almost forgot to tell everyone what we’re doing and where we’ll be! Well, all that hard work has paid off and we’re happy to tell you that we have put together enough repertoire to present a terrific full show and a stellar short set.

Nov. 19 – Raise the Roof Women’s Music Festival Fundraiser

Sandwiched nicely between Smoke N Mirrorz and Elana Harte, Joplinesque has an enviable slot tonight for the RRWMF fundraiser at Ben’s Pub in Kingston. Smoke N Mirrorz is Kingston’s newest rock sensation and Elana, who is coming all the way from Toronto for this event, is a staple in the women’s music scene in Eastern Ontario.

We had a great rehearsal last night preparing for this show – hope to see you at Ben’s tonight!

$20 per person, available at the door – this is a small venue so get there early to make sure you have a seat!

Dec. 17 – Meet us at the Mansion in Kinston

We are so pleased to be sharing the stage with Kingston Rock Band, Smoke N Mirrorz on December 17th at the Mansion.

The show is from 9pm to 1am – $10 at the door. Joplinesque is on first so come out early and get a seat – that joint is going to rock and roll!
